How Saving Cents Works
- Round your checking account balance or debit card purchase to the nearest dollar
- Transfer the difference to your Vallant Bank savings account
- Track your progress using Online or Mobile Banking
Example: Point of Sale (POS) Transfer (for debit card transactions). You buy groceries for $135.04 with your debit card. We round up the transaction to $136.00 and transfer the extra $.96 from your checking account to your savings account.
Example: Ending Daily Balance. If your checking balance is $156.45 at the end of the day, we’ll round your account to $156.00 and transfer the $.45 difference into your savings account.
